On November 29, the educational Congress «Abish Alemi» was held in the Palace of Independence.
The educational congress was organized by the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the akimat of the city of Nur-Sultan on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the national writer, statesman and public figure of Kazakhstan, Abish Kekilbayev. The purpose of the event is to popularize the work of Abish Kekilbayev and the development of the values of Kazakh literature in the international scientific system.
In the Palace of Independence in honor of the 80th anniversary of the writer organized a photo gallery «Abish Alemi», where more than 50 photos reflecting the brightest moments of his life were presented. Also, readers were offered a rich Treasury of creativity of Abish Kekilbayev, QR-codes of digital copies of books and personal archive of the writer.
In addition, they presented information about the achievements of the writer, more than 100 awards, diplomas and letters of thanks to the writer. The literary meeting was attended by members of the writer's family, in particular his wife Klara Jumabayevna, son Daulet Kekilbayev, daughters Zauzat and Saule, grandson Abyl Kekilbayev and his great-grandson Adil Kekilbay Abyluly. During the meeting, the guests talked about the life and work of the writer. It also offers introduced images of the writer and his mother Aisaule.
A large-scale event began with the film «Shyńyraý». Director Zhanibek Zhetyruov reminded that seven films were shot in Mangystau region.
«On the 70th anniversary of the writer, we shot a film called «Samgau». It was difficult even to get close to such a great man as Abish Kekilbayev. But we tried very hard to make the film like the audience. So, in 2009 we released a 46-minute film «Shyńyraý». Abish Aga looked, was happy and gave chapan. Then in 2014, at the Council of the Kazakhfilm Studio, it was proposed to make a film based on the story «Shyńyraý». The famous Director Satybaldy Narymbetov said that many do not undertake such a responsible job. Their choice fell on me when they asked: «Who is the youth?» In 2014, I received an assignment and prepared a semi-annual version and showed the writer, he blessed me in return. So, by the end of 2018, we finished shooting in the same scenario. The film began to show in 2019. Our film took part in festivals in Delhi, Kathmandu and Bangladesh. I went to the Xinjiang Film Festival and won the nomination «Best foreign film». My achievement is that Chinese destructors are going to buy our film. Therefore, the «Shyńyraý»to be released in Chinese for the audience», - the Director said.
Abish Kekilbayev was born on December 6, 1939 in Ondy village of Mangystau region.
The first collection of poems by Abish Kekilbayev « Altyn shýaq» was published in 1962, and «Bіr shókіm bult» - in 1965. In 1974 he published a series of critical articles «Dáýіrmen betpe-bet», «Bіr ýys topyraq» and in 1979 «Tyraý, tyraý, tyrnalar» was published historical story «Uıqydaǵy arýdyń oıanýy» about the past, present and future of the Mangystau Peninsula, and in 1982 - the collection of stories «Shyńyraý». In 1992 and 1993 two selected volumes were published, in 1995 - «Zamanmen suhbat», in 1998 - «Azatttyqtyń aq tańy», as well as journalistic articles and brochures. The collection of 12 volumes was published in 1999. Abish Kekilbayev's novels «Úrker» (1981),«Elen-Alan» (1984) were highly appreciated in the Kazakh literature and received the State prize of the Kazakh SSR. «Talaıǵy Taraz», released in 2001, «Shandoz» in 2002 marked a new concept of scientifically proven, clear and accurate history. In 2009, five volumes of works, essays, memoirs and thoughts of the writer were published under the title «Syr deste». Many of Abish Kekilbayev's works have been translated into foreign languages. He was awarded the State prize of the Kazakh SSR in 1986, the Prize of peace and spiritual harmony of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1995, the order «Otan» in 1999, according to the decision of the Association of Turkic-speaking countries received the award «for merits in the Turkic world». In 2003 he was awarded the Order of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Abish Kekilbayev died in December 2015.
