On November 1, 2019 in Nur-Sultan the Republican seminar «Compulsory social insurance in the conditions of modernization of social protection of the population» where the Kazakhstan experts and social workers together with colleagues from Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan discussed prospects of development of social insurance took place.
The event, organized by the Ministry of labor and social protection of the population of Kazakhstan and the State social insurance Fund, was also attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, deputies of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the Unified accumulative pension Fund, the social health insurance Fund, The state annuity company and the international financial center «Astana».
Opening the seminar, Vice Minister of labor and social protection of the population of Kazakhstan Akmadi Sarbasov noted that this dialogue platform will allow experts from different countries to discuss topical issues of social security in the context of globalization and growing expectations of the population.
