On February 20, 2019 in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence loan exhibition "Modern netsuke made of wood" was organized by Japanese Foundation . The exhibition features 65 netsuke.
The exhibition was officially opened by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan - Tatsuhiko Kasai.
