Closing ceremony of the international conference The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations 2019 Asia Conference (HPAIR 2019 Asia Conference) was held on August 20 at the Palace of Independence.
HPAIR Asia Conference 2019 – is a five day international youth conference is being held since 1991 in major cities of Asia (43 conferences in 12 different countries), which is being held for the first time in history in Central Asia. 500 delegates from more than 40 countries arrived to Nur-Sultan to participate in this prestigious international event
The conference is organized by non-profit organization HPAIR at faculty of Arts and Sciences of the Harvard University in collaboration with Nazarbayev University. The purpose of the conference is to create a discussion platform for an exchange of experience between students and young experts for discussion and studying of the most important economic, political and social problems facing Asia.
The theme of the conference of this year - is «Passion for change», in the framework of which there will be discussions and considerations in six different directions: global markets and the economy; art, media and culture; social policy and social justice; energy and environmental sustainability; public administration and geopolitics; science and technology.
