From the bottom of my heart, I am congratulating you on the occasion of the public holiday: Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
This is an important document embodying the independence and democratic values of our state.
On August 30, 1995, the Basic Law of the country, which became the foundation of democratic lawmaking, guaranteeing citizens the basic rights and freedoms and finally enshrined the independence of the state, was adopted. The Constitution created the main conditions for strengthening statehood and unity of the people, uniting people of all the ethnicities connected by a common historical destiny on the land of Kazakhstan.
The Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev noted: “The Constitution is the basis of prosperity and development of Kazakhstan”. Today, the Constitution is the source of our trust, strength and a solid foundation for implementing the historical goals and objectives of the Strategy-2050 on Kazakhstan’s entry into the list of 30 most developed countries in the world.
